Factory Fighters!
« on: 20 December 2014, 09:11:18 PM »
This morning I finished a unit of Soviet Factory Militia, for Stalingrad. They were a break from painting uniformed figures!

Please have a look on my blog:

Thanks for looking!

Lovely work. I really like those Eureka ones as well (better than Battlefront's partisans).

Thank you! I haven't actually seen BF's partisans, but I have a couple of the Peter Pig ones. However, I wasn't very keen on them as they seem to be quite old sculpts. These Eureka ones are excellent!

I have the Partisans & Polizei (SBX09) box from Battlefront they released a few years ago. The miniatures have been split into two sets:

The store also has:

I do like the Battlefront stuff, but infantry can be a little chunky. The Eureka WWII ranges are nicer though, much more animation.

They look like nice figures, but I agree, BF stuff is quite chunky. I have a Romanian force as they are the only ones that do a decent set of Romanian figures for WW2, but they are also cartoonish!

As I said in the blog post, I have never really encountered Eureka before, so I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the figs were.
