Foundry El Dorado and Swiss
« on: 21 December 2015, 02:16:01 PM »
I have the Foundry ED range and was wanting to add their Swiss Characters.
Would they fit in scale wise, I think the Swiss came out years before the Dorado figures.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.

I know that Dave Andrews sculpted their Swiss range and I think that Copplestone sculpted their El Derado range if I'm not mistaken(?)

That would make the El Dorado range larger than the Swiss.

I would caution you to wait to see what others have to say as I may well be incorrect.

Darrell.

I've got some Swiss, but not ED  lol

I've just compared a couple of command figures to a few other random bits I have lying around. They're very similar to "Great War" Crimean British in general proportions (as you'd expect given the same sculptor). They're also similar in general proportion to, though a mm or two shorter than, an "Otherworld" wizard and some old Perry sculpted Mordheim/Empire metals. They measure about 28/29mm to the eye.

I've no idea if that helps or just muddies the water.

Yes, and I took a comparison pic for you. I added a Perry landsknecht too for good measure.
