Does anybody have any of these figures? They don't look too bad in the bare plastic on the web site.  Some of the painted examples are a bit ropy, though.  Cockpit green German uniforms?  Seem to be reasonably cheap, too.

I have all sets several times over.  Sizewise they are 25mm & paint up very well, also easy to convert.  I plan to combine them with the ready made and painted diecast vehicles (20mm) that are around now to "speed up" my WWII projects, so there will be a small difference in scale, but I don't mind that very much in this case.

From a design & detail point of view (painting!), they are very much nearer to nowadays "28's" than soft plastic 20's.  That's why I picked them instead of 20's (paint does not hold very well either...) which are really too far off from my usual 28mm armies in other periods.

Like Rudi I have all the sets, and the new Germans in Normandy on order. They are not 20mm, but true 1/72nd which makes them a good bit larger than AB 20mm and smaller than most of the 28mm WW2 on the market. However, they are perfectly in scale with the Ready to Roll and Britannia vehicles.
The figures are excellent. Okay, perhaps not as detailed as Artizan but nicely proportioned and lots of scope for head and arm swaps.

Thanks, guys.  Just looking for some figs to go with my 1/72 Dragon armour and plastic gives you so many options for converting.  Just wish Dragon would put some crew with their vehicles.  Their Fallschirmjäger with the King Tigers are very nice, if a trifle complex.  Don't know why they didn't add at least the tank commander.  Have to try and get some Preiser tankers, I guess.  FYI - the Dragon kits are exquisite but I don't think they'd be ideal for gaming.  Too many small parts!  It's bad enough building them just for display!

They are very nice.  While I don't mind using 1/72 soft plastic figures when I must, the fact that Valiant uses hard styrene makes it clean-up, painting and converting easier.

Figures are good but a bit big for my taste. I really like my AB 20mm figures and these just don't fit. Weapons had good detail but again a bit chunky. If I was starting in WWII I would just buy these on there own. Loads of modelling options. Loads of support weapons. Good value for money.
