Some early pictures

One of the things about FG many of us clearly like is the ability to repurpose existing figures and terrain in an exciting new way. Here are a few pictures from items cobbled together from my collection - hope this works as I attempt to post for the first time.

nice, gorillacrab.  Those LotR rangers do work well - they seem sufficiently bundled up. 

Who makes the wizard in red in the first couple of pictures?

In the second picture, I looked at it the first time and thought the wizard had a tremendously long bow-arm...

Bothe the miniatures and the setting itself seem to be open to interpretation.  I'm just starting to build terrain and assemble my old models so I asked the writer about the architecture witin the setting and he suggested I do what I please.  I really like your terrain pieces and miniatures; What make is your wizard in the second photo?  The LotR rangers are sweet like mweaver said and I will have to get me some of those in the future.  Thank you for sharing, I hope to have some stuff up soon and looking at your project is a great motivator.

Thanks so much - like others FG really inspired me and I was buying Battlefield in a Box and painting old GW wall sections I had bought years ago at a bring and buy. I must confess to including a few higher quality prepaints in my pictures. The wizard in the red cloak is an older generation prepainted D&D miniature as is the green demon. These days the quality of prepaints isn't as strong, and it was always very inconsistent but at times you could find some very good figures. The large white Wolfen figure was a very good prepaint from the Confrontation game by Rackham, arguably some of the best prepaints every produced.

Glad you found the pictures inspiring - I will aim to upload more showing my overall setting, which is a larger 4x4.
