Pulp Alley - search for the Staff of Solomon

At our local club a four way confrontation took place as various forces tried to gain the Staff of Solomon. Nevada Smith from the Museum of Antiquities and his companions did not fair too well in their quest to stop the staff from falling into the wrong hands. Outgunned by the German forces of the Third Reich he was overpowered and thrown in the back of the truck. Fortunately his able assistant, Frau Blucher (a double agent) was able to retrieve the journals of Dr. Erik Sacknusen and evade the Germans from taking her back to Berlin for questioning.

Meanwhile Her Majesties local constabulary arrived, to retrieve contraband from being exported out and to see off the German menace, as they weren't playing cricket.

Finally, an evil cult appeared to retrieve the Staff of Solomon for themselves so that they might summon forth the Black Pharaoh.

With Nevada out of the game the Evil cultists managed to overpower the German colonel and take the staff for themselves. In the spirit of all good Saturday morning serials, the game ended on a cliffhanger.

All in all it was a very entertaining couple of hours. We used the vehicle rules for the first time. They worked out well and in time they will become a seamless part of our Pulp Alley games.
