"A Hard Contest" - Waterloo 1815
« on: 04 November 2015, 07:58:46 PM »
Hi all,

I thought I share some pictures of my Napoleonic figures with you all. I finished the Perry Waterloo Vignette few months ago for a collector in Spain. I loved the dynamic of the piece and they were a pleasure to paint... a real pain to clean and prep for the painting though  :?

All comments are welcome.

Kind regards

Sascha

Really beautiful work!
Now what is this whole life of mortals but a sort of comedy, in which the various actors, disguised by various costumes and masks, walk on and play each one his part, until the manager waves them off the stage?

Well I've lead an evil life, so they say, but I'll outrun the Devil on judgement day.
