New company: Gentleman hunters club [update: story]
« on: 15 January 2016, 04:21:12 PM »
Recently I started on working out a new company for IHMN.
Since I am a big fan of the foundry gentleman and hunting party miniatures
the Idea of a gentleman hunting club came to mind.

I just set up a quick list with 2 Characters (names are wip) and a few other fellows.
The list is really expensive since all of them wielding hunting rifes with the hunter talent.

The problem I see is that they are maybee a bit over powered.
Some feedback and opinions on the company so far would be great.

thanks

Looks fine to me. With Sir, Mc Sir and dog, 2 experienced clubmembers and 5 clubmembers for just under 300 points...seems a good size. They are excellent shots, as you'd expect, but they are still going to have to worry if there are lots of fierce natives charging them from the bushes!

I remember seeing a documentary about snipers during WWI.  The Germans were using dedicated sharpshooters and the British initially chalked this up to (unfortunate) ricochets.

Perhaps add some Stealth skills and the club could be a front for a group of elite shooters, sent around the world to assist the military in Her Majesty's interests (such as the Anglo-Afghan Wars).

A scrimmage in a Border Station
A canter down some dark defile
Two thousand pounds of education
Drops to a ten-rupee jezail.
