It is strange that after 20 years Wargames foundry are still the only company which provides a full range for this period. In that period I have lost count of the proposed ranges that fell by the way.The first two projects appear to have been abandoned.
Footsore Miniatures have so far only issued two packs of French Infantry, in over a year, so I wouldn't really call that a range yet!
Blackpowder appear to be pending, and look really good figures although from the photo's appear bigger than the Helion 1866 range.
Now sure if you are aware but Stevebarbermodels has started on a  range of FPW with issuing some Saxon Infantry.

Hi Johnp4000,

I have seen the Barber range but I fear that will be another stalled range. So far Footsore seems the best bet...

What would help would be something like Warlord releasing a FPW specific supplement to Black Powder. Easy to get into, a bit spoon fed maybe, but that's what drives excitement. People don't want to get a doctorate on the war just to play some games.

I am not 100% but I am sure that when the Saxons were released there was a note on the Steve Barber website that this was the first of a full range covering the war, I was expecting at least some Cavalry and artillery to complete the Saxon Corps.
I had the impression from the warlord's forum that there doesn't seem to be much interest in anything outside of Napoleonic's,ACW and Colonial.
Blackpowder games from their blog seem to be more active and look likely to issue figures shortly, hopefully Footsore will also expand their range.

If you check the Blackpowder site,it appears that they will shortly be issuing their Bavarian Infantry.Footsore Minatures on their facebook site appear to indicate that they intend to issue figures over the next two years, so hopefully we will have lots of options soon.We can only hope both companies can avoid the Helion 1866 curse.

The black powder ones should be out by February 27th. At least that's what they are saying on there blog.
