The Monday nighters met for an ACW game based on the battle at Gaine's Mill and using the Fire and Fury rules . 15mm figures owned by Billy Mclenaghen.

So, who won the battle?
I mostly paint 28mm figures.
But I think 15mm figures are great for ACW and other big battle periods.
Love the look of the table.

Hi Randy, it was a contested river crossing plus the Feds were entrenched behind barricades to the Rebs right wing . The table was slightly more open on the Rebs left. The Rebel plan was to demonstrate on the right while the main attacks went in on the left and centre ( Cold Harbour if I recall ) In the event the Rebels forced a crossing at three points , but at terrible cost, the Union players switched reserves to stem the assault and the Rebel main assault began in the centre and far left. The Rules ran quite smoothly and seem to be fine for larger engagements. We played with 3 players a side , it was a hard fought and bloody contest,  " hard pounding "as a great man once said.
