Where can I buy a 28mm Tembe?

The walls inside are already textured, outside is next.

No tutorial out there, but its a pretty simple build till now.
In fact its just what you see on the pics: base cut to size, walls glued on, sand glued to base and the inner walls are painted using white acryl to get some texture on the smooth surface of the cardboard. The outer walls will be textured using an airdrying model clay. I will take some pictures when I do this later.

This is the next step: for a nice texture you have to take small balls of putty and plaster the wall, a wet fingertip will help to smoothe the surface a bit. (This is very time consuming... )



Till now I always used white clay, but I think this one is easier to prime, as you won't notice any missed parts later...

I finished all the plasterwork yesterday till 1am  , so I can start painting now.

Primed and with a first layer of a darker brown in the edges




I use wallpaint that I got mixed to match vallejo green ochre for the walls and sand. For the highlights I have a wallpaint that matches vallejo dark sand.

And this is what it looks like at the moment:
roof dried and ready to paint, walls painted the next colour. By using a brown towel I don't have to prime it as I had to on the first tembe I built years ago.

It wasn't part of any presentation at Tactica, I just gave it to Lt.Hazel who will hopefully hand it over to the Prof soon.
I'm sure Alex will take better pics than I ever could, together with his superb figures and Grimms very cool african terrain.
