Edric the Wild aka robin hood
« on: 07 March 2016, 04:48:30 PM »
I am plannig to paint the Fondry Edric the wild figures
http://www.miniaturicum.de/product_info.php?products_id=5756
I will use them to play the saxon style robin hood adventures .
My question is who are the figures in the set ?
Robin ,Little John, Marian and Tuck are clear but who are the other two figures ?
One must be Will Scarlet .
Can someone help me please?

I'm assuming it's Will Scarlet with the axe and Alan-a-Dale (a wandering minstrel) with the cloak.

The other way around. The figure with the axe also has a lute so is, as you've already identified, Alan. The other one is Will Scarlet.

Ray ,that is exactly my problem the figure with the lute looks more like a will scarlet the fancy figure looks more like a minstrel.
On the other hand the in a few movies will is a knife fighter and in some stories he is a noble.

So Sade and Ray what would you do ?

The figures are supposed to be Eadric the wild. His squeeze Goda fey. The two Welsh princes: Bleddyn and Rhiwallon. Then a monk with a Celtic tonsure as would have been the norm for the time and place and a bard to sing the tales. Taliesin perhaps....
Here is a link with more info. Cheers Matt
