Blood Bowl base rings needed.

2nd edition Blood Bowl came with some small slotta bases that had coloured edge rings that clipped over them (making them full size bases when assembled). Does anyone know if the edge rings are available somewhere?

No, the skill rings are different type of rings. I may have some of the plastic rings stone-cold-lead. I will check them out tonight.

Yeah, different thing there Zeebeest although some interesting base accessories there all the same. I didn't know about all that stuff so could be handy for other things in the future.

If you have any spare Malebolgia I'd definitely be interested. Spent time cutting the middle out of a slotta base only to remember that BB had exactly what I was after!

Are they something like the base extenders folk have recently started selling, to widen GW gamers' 25mm bases to 32mm? I don't mean, 'to extend BB bases', but attaching to the base in a similar way?

No, these clip onto special little slotta bases to make them full size 25mm ones. They were intended to help identify the different player types in BB 2nd edition as the plastics were all identical models. A bizarre design choice seeing as I don't recall seeing them used in any other game and surely it would have been easier and cheaper for GW to just mould their standard bases in different coloured plastics?

Thought I had a need for a lot of the outer rings but it turns out I only need a few and I have enough for now.
