Three Musketeers - civilians and extras?
« on: 04 July 2016, 09:51:54 PM »
I've been collecting the Brigade miniatures Three Musketeers range by Paul Hicks,

Pauland could do with figures to populate the table, so far I have Warlords Clubmen but they are armed with improvised weapons. Any other suggestions?

Check out Redoubt Enterprise's ECW range, under both Civilians and Extras. Some nice stuff there.

The action is supposed to happen in 1625 and late 1620s. Many miniatures of the early 17th century and ECW period can do.

The Redoubt range is great but the ECW and Musketeer ranges are considerably taller than the Brigade stuff. I would seach in the Foundry and TAG ranges. Open handed artillerymen can often double up as civilians

Foundry certainly have some civilians in their ECW range.  Redoubt also have some in their ECW range, but they do look on the tall side. Perry have civilians in their AWI range and you might be able to use a couple of them with some hat swaps.

Foundry is a good start,  Look at all ranges I think there is Medieval, ECW, Pirates 18th Centry and FPW in there somewhere.  Some of the Fantasy ranges have figures that will fit.  Always on the look out for anything!

Colonel Bill does some lovely vignettes including an ECW-ish era witch ducking party!

Warbases has a range inspired by the Musketeers tv show, some civilians there as well. The big-headed style may put some off though!
