GoT flags
« on: 28 April 2016, 10:48:52 PM »
I was hunting the web for decal manufacturers and came across theses flags.
I've not seen them mentioned on the various GoT threads here so thought they might be of interest.

Flags

Pennants

Hope it helps...

Ahh yes I have some of them - the 'medieval fantasy fish banner', i.e. House Tully. Very good quality!

Must be your phone mate as the words Flags and Pennants link to the site.
The company is flags of war here in Scotland.
Nice flags but don't do what I did and leave them in the window as they are all faded now..

Apologies. Didn't register those were hyperlinks. Yes. All generally good.

Don't like the Tully. I'm open to being corrected but shouldn't it be muddy red (murrey?) and blue wavy with a trout argent superimposed?

Not clear whether the wavy is vertical or horizontal. The Citadel at Westeros.org represents it vertically.

I think the Tully flag (as many others are) is based on the TV show version.

But to be honest, I don't think it's ever specified if it's vertical or horizontal in the books.

I like it!

I am considering maybe carefully giving both the red and blue a thin coat of a darker colour to tone it down a bit, as it is much brighter than the red and blue on the actual models. Then again, it does make the flags stand out more.

I believe in the books it's a silver fish on a wavy blue and red vertically striped background. I'm no expert though
