Model railway show tomorrow at St Edward's Hall, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire

Plenty of other interesting things to see in the hall, as well as the model railway layouts, including a fine collection of English Civil War paintings and weapons and also a chance to have a game of "A Fistful of Lead : Reloaded" ...

Here's a few photos I managed to grab during the tea breaks. It's a good little show, which was well attended and hopefully raised some funds for the Action Aid Charity.

Lovely stuff - nice venue, and I can't decide whether I prefer the Corris Railway layout or the Twigg Street with the shunt rumbling through the buildings.
I'd never seen a 4-poster railway layout - intriguing; but that last pic takes the cake....

Incidentally, Stow-on-the Wold is the last battlefield of the British Civil Wars.....

It a show which I really enjoy and always happy to help at.

The Corris one is beautiful and really captures the real railway ... although it was pouring with rain when I was last there.

Twigg Street is great fun, especially with the sound equipped locos.

Stow-on-the-Wold where the wind blows cold..... Hopefully it didn't. Lived not far from there as a small child.

Nice pics, the model sponge cake is especially realistic. Presumably dried brushed blister foam, with polyfilla cream and greenstuff fruit.

The weather was the usual high Cotswold mix of bright clear sky and torrential downpours ...

The model cake was suprisingly tasty ... I had to try several to make sure.
