I'm trying to make my own sea cliff, inspired by this - can I ask what paint you used for the basecoat over the foam?
Spray isn't adhering too well, acrylics are next - but I was wondering whether you applied a base of PVA+ water or other concoction to seal any pores which remain untouched by paint.
Thanks  :D

It was actually textured masonry paint and I don't think you'll get it out there (it's called Sandtex). If you have incredibly fine sand you can add that to emulsion paint or even acrylic and that would just just as well  :)

I'm glad you posted as it will get me going on the bigger one I started  :D

cheers

James

Ah, right - will see what I can concoct. I think I could actually get Sandtex, or some equivalent.
Thank you James. Looking forward to the next one.  8)
