I haven't received anything yet.  But, judging from my backer number, I'll be the last to get anything....

Arrived this morning only a small skirmish set, nice chunky figures a bit of cleaning required.
British Skirmish set

Afghans skirmishing

Afghans firing

The characters

Flashman up close and personal

Flags

Ìf I succeed in getting these painted will definitely be buying more lovely figs, my only concern could have been packed a bit better as in danger of losing some of the British rifle barrels and bayonets where they have been bent badly.

Very nice figures, they look like they have loads of character. ;D

Don't feel any urge to game this conflict though (Which is a relief to my bank account) lol

Mine came today, nice figures they do require a little cleaning, but not as much as Perry miniatures. Start slapping on the paint tomorrow.

I got a close look at these today and was very impressed with the Afghans. The faces have a lot of character, their animation is good, and the moulding and casting has been cleverly thought out so that shields or the arms of certain poses do not have to be done separately.
I'm not collecting 1st AW British (yet...  ::) ) so these were not of so much interest to me but I noticed lots of character in the faces and posing also. The greatcoat covers a multitude of sins, sculpting wise, but I suppose they will be quick to paint!

Wish I'd managed to get around to signing up for this Kickstarter, even though I already have a pile of old Wargames Foundry "China" British and ACW Union Greatcoat Inf. in mid-conversion into 1st Afghan War British Inf.

Hope the Afghan and British figures will all become available for retail sale -- albeit at higher cost -- in the relatively near future.
