Atlantis Miniatures Orcs and Goblins Kickstarter project
« on: 13 June 2015, 07:31:53 PM »
Not seen any posts on this, thought it might be of interest to a few more modern souls. There's more info on their facebook page, where they ask for feedback on digital sculpts and seem very willing to incorporate reader input. Worth keeping an eye on.

Those are some ripped goblins! They should be modelled holding protein shakes and dumbbells.

Apologies for the bump...

The Kickstarter is up and running now - and already funded! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1636851747/atlantis-miniatures-28mm-goblinsorcs-and-trolls/posts/1284133

I didn't like the pledge levels, but I'm pleased that they've allowed you to pledge for individual miniatures - Those trolls are just too good to pass up!

Trolls are very nice, but I'll be waiting for Bones 3 I think.

The trolls I'm intrigued by, but holy moley those goblins. :? No other anatomy refs besides Mr. Universe contests and superhero comics? (I mean, jings, even some of the animals are getting bodybuilder physiques)

Have we seen some of the orcs before? They look familiar.

+1 on the cool beasties...but silly goblins/orcs.

I like the bear, the owl, the trolls etc.

I agree with comments about the Orcs & Goblins, but the larger figures are amazing and if the sculpts are anything like as good as the renders will be a bargain at the prices on the KS.

Trolls, Ettin, Giant and the creatures are where this KS really scores.  Hope it survives the launch of Bones III tomorrow.

Showing the relative sizes of the figures from Goblin on the left up to Ettin on the right....... those big monsters are certainly going to be imposing on the battlefield.

I really like them, printing the big ones will cost a fortune tho.

Considering these are hard resin figures I think the prices on the KS are very reasonable:
The Giant and Ettin are priced at £28 each, the Mountain troll is £22.

No idea what they will be for retail though, considerably more I would expect.

Had my first set of trolls in the post today and I'm very impressed. Nice resin miniatures with fine details, and one of the "mixed troll set" is really huge ...
