Gents
Interested in perhaps gaming this in 15mm.
Any pointers as to books in English on this?
Need to understand the changing troop types, tactics etc and if there are any army lists around

Hi,
which war are you interested in?

Check if there is a translation of Sveriges Kriegs tomes. Otherwise try to contact Daniel S. or Kadrinazi at the TMP forum.

If you need some OdBs I can try to help you as well, just PM me your e-mail :).

As for miniatures - http://qrminiatures.pl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=12&Itemid=7

Those seem to fit the bill, however they still have some accuracy issues. If you intend to youse them with BF&S minis, be warned that they are bulkier.

As for BF&S range - they're too late for this period but some individual models might work.

The biggest problem would pose the choice of Swedish miniatures.

Oh and Old Glory 15s, except polish infantry with pikes and bardishes and pancerni cavalry (the same with qr miniatures pancerni).

Thanks M.P.
I probably will game the 1620s.
I've know Dan S for many years, I'll message him
PM sent and thanks for the figure recommendations, I bought some QR 15thC stuff before Christmas; some very nice figures.
I was thinking of using Totentanz for the Poles:

Sorry to say so, but Totentanz polish and cossack ranges are more of a fantasy thing than anythong else (esp. polish cossack horse archers and haiduks).
