Andrea paints smell of pepper?!?

I have been using Andrea colour paints (black and white matt) on some Cthulhu wars restic minis. Is it just me or do they have a strong smell of pepper?

A reaction with the plastic resin perhaps?

Step #1) Remove the paint bottle from your nostril.
Step #2) Admit you have a problem.

On a more serious note, that IS an odd reaction. It only happens with that particular paint-plastic combination? Have you used the Andrea paints on anything else?
