Thanks guys
It's a very good-looking conversion. I still like the old Foundry Sikh Wars figures : apart from being 26 rather than 28mm and the early codes lacking variants within each pose, I don't think they have aged that much. Or maybe I'm getting nostalgic.

The Studio Miniatures figures are nice, if a bit stiff, but there's the nagging question of whether the range will seen through completion (SM were supposed to release a host of new codes in February, then just after Salute and nothing has come so far).
Arthur I have quite a few Foundry figures I do like them but I thought they were looking a little dated which is why my mind turned to updating the collection. However I think it will probably be to much work to do this now so I'll stick with my Foundry stuff I suppose.
I contacted Footsore Miniatures as I had seen some Khalsa greens they produced that looked lovely but sadly they have no plans for any imminent release.
I agree about the studio miniatures figures and their stiffness but I could live with that with the marching infantry but the cavalry figures look a little weird to me (sorry SM but they just do).
Never mind it's not like there's nothing else out there for me to spend my money on lol
