These are just lovely, if that's the right term for it. You must live at your paint table to get so many figures painted so well, so quickly.

If I may ask, are you using washes and dry-brush? Is this layer painting? A combination of both?

Hi Michka,

I use army painter washes: Dark Tone and Strong Tone apllied with a brush over base colouring.
After that I paint 1 or 2 highlights with the original colour.

The nurgle marines are fantastic. Have you tried the AP Soft Tone on lighter colors? It works better than strong or dark tone.

Yes...I tried soft tone for very light colours.
atm I do only watered down strong tone. Works okay for me...soft tone was always too light for me.

Finished today the deamonic machine from the dark imperium box. Kind off finished....:)

I did a small pic with all the diffrent colours I used...its a pretty limited palette.






Only the red is a german manufacurer.
