First En Garde game - using 15mm figs
« on: 14 May 2017, 03:49:18 AM »
After having had the rules for quite some time and painting up a force of Bluemoon 15mm figs for this game we finally got to play it this week. You can see the write up of the game and comments on the rules here:

Overall a very fun game and one I'd recommend people have a look at if they are into the period. Has anyone complete the 'back port' of  the rules to Ronin?

Oh and sample pic for you here:

A great write up and it sounds like a fun game. The 15mm figures still gave a good looking game.

I've had the rules sitting on my shelf for over a year now and never got past a brief skim through, not because I didn't like the look of them, but because Osprey put out too many good rulesets for periods I'm interested in. Lion Rampant, Dragon Rampant, Frostgrave, Pikemen's Lament and The Men Who Would Be Kings are all taking my time.

I have a box of about 40 Border Reivers collecting dust, that would probably work for En Garde, so you are prompting me to give them a proper read through at last!
