Napoleonic Skirmish
« on: 25 June 2017, 11:21:05 AM »
Over the last year I have been working on a Napoleonic small scale skirmish set-up. The rules that I have been using are Buck Surdu's Combat Patrol with it's free horse and musket supplement.

The games are unashamedly based more on the fictional world of Hornblower and Sharp than any historical encounter. (I do the serious Napoleonic gaming in 6mm at the multi-corp level!)

Recently, I have been developing a terrain system at work which is based on 12" square box frames with a wide range of profiles for hills, cliffs, rivers, streams, canals etc. I have used these Terra-Former kits together with some cork bark, polystyrene and sand to put this scenery together.

If you're interested in finding out more about the terrain, details are available at : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/179272384/terra-formers-the-foundations-of-great-wargames-te

Those terrain modules do look nice.
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

figures painted: 57
