1/72 Sci-Fi tanks
« on: 13 February 2021, 11:20:40 PM »
New printer, a Eleego Mars 2 Pro.  This thing is fantastic, and I can now not only print much easier, but I can print super highness master for traditional metal and resin casting!

Anyway, I can now print my 1/48 sci-fi models in 20mm much more easily.
This print is about 5 inches long, and multipart.

Very nice!  :-* How long did it take to print?

My Mars 2 Pro arrives next week. Looking forward to seeing some of my sculpts become reality.
Operating from an abandoned US spy base somewhere in the Australian outback, Miniature Martin produces games and scale miniatures set in parallel worlds, past and future. He is NOT trying to take over the Earth. This time.

Looking good, very nice model.  I recently got a resin printer after using filament for years, game changer!

My 1/72 models are averaging about 3 hours.  When printed in 1/48, the average is 7 hours.  1/72 stormtroopers or clones are taking about an hour for a squad.

a 1:56 P40 tank I just sculpted takes about 2-3 hours per set of parts.  So Tracks, hull and turret are all separate print runs.
