Just as an aside...If you are wanting German Schutztruppe that will match Foundry and Northstar Darkest Africa minis, try Pulp Figures Germans in pith helmets and Battle Honors German Askaris of WW1. Head to toe, these four manufacturers will all match up perfectly!

You may want to take a look at Pulp Alley for rules.  Light rpg/skirmish,  from six to a dozen or so figures per side.

Brigade Game also makes really nice Germans that work perfectly with Copplestone's Germans:

Thank you all for your comments and suggestions... "Congo" (along with German expedition) has arrived from North Star and I am slowly building my forces...

I also ordered "The Men Who Would Be Kings" and I am currently eyeing "The Heart of Darkness" on the bookshelf... It looks I have gone fully native! :)

Speaking of natives, I also have Congo tribes (former cannibals) to paint, as could be seen from above picture... I have a following question - do you have a dark African flesh triad (similar to Foundry's) to recommend? I have their African flesh triad, and it is a nice dark chocolate color, but I want my natives to be darker, mostly to differentiate them from the Africans in the European explorers service. I can always add a little black to that triad, but if anyone knows good recipe for dark African flesh that involves Vallejo colors (most of my paints are theirs)... I am listening...
