Waylaid by Axes - The First Age of Middle-earth
« on: 16 September 2020, 08:30:54 PM »
James and Martin came around a few weeks ago to film a game using James' Midgard rules and Middle earth collection for the Virtual Hereward show.
Here's a few pictures from the game:

Lots more pictures and the video we shot in which James talks about the rules and his figures can be found over on my blog:

Looks great!

I didn't see on your blog what miniatures you were using.

James explains the models in the video :)

The Orcs are a mixture of mostly Oathmark and GW LotR with some bits of Warlord (ex WGF) and even some Perry WotR Pole arms. Lots of kitbashing.
The trolls are mostly from Reaper Bones.
The Elves are Oathmark - the riders conversions using the Gripping Beast Arab Cavalry.
The Dwarfs are mostly from Conqueror Models.
