I've been using Jon Hodgson's painted backgrounds for a couple of years now. They're usually only available via his Patreon site, but he's now made a set of 10 available from Wargames Vault. These can be printed at A4 or A3 - some of my photos below, using an iPhone and my minis in the foreground.
