Looking at the pix, I can't help but thinl the discovery was made by doctor P.H. Otoshop, based on hints received by a certain gentleman from Providence

That would indeed make a great mythos beastie. The harp sponge was certainly more sinister looking than the ping pong sponge which does not seem to have even warranted a half decent name!

It really would be worth trying to make a figure for that should someone with more time and talent than I take it on!
