New Zombie fare from Max Brooks
« on: August 31, 2009, 10:34:32 PM »
I went to FanExpo in Toronto at the weekend.  In attendance was Max Brooks, author of The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z.  I got my copy of the Survival Guide signed and was given a signed copy of this too:

This is just a taster, the full version of the graphic novel comes out in October.  I'm not a great fan of graphic novels but this looks pretty good - the taster is the story of a bunch of French Foreign Legion besieged in a Fort.
'I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.'

Does look interesting. Max is an excellent writer.

Maybe this will inspire some companies to produce zombies that aren't all WW2 Germans or modern city dwellers. Here's hoping, anyway...

Sounds to be graphic version of all the little recorded attacks from the survival guide itself. I'd be interested in it :). Lucky bugger with your signed books...
