Looks very realistic ....must confess I don’t bother either rigging on mine, partly to make the sail interchangeable, and partly to add gameplay.

I just got my issue and read the article about this build - it has a lot of good info. I won’t be building cogs any time soon, but I can see myself using the techniques to buildi river boats for Oathmark
