Scary toys

Here's a little diversion that found itself creeping onto the paint table.

You always knew that your toys came alive when you turned the light out, didn't you?

















And finally, the toy maker that created these nursery horrors:



Toy minis are from Monolith/Graven Images - actually in their 40mm range, but work perfectly at 28mm. The last mini is the Celestial Toymaker from BTD's Doctor Who range.

Nice, but incompatible. Monolith is 40mm and BTD is 28mm, isn't it?

I don't think there's an international convention on acceptable sizes for evil toys. A large jack in the box is simply...large.

I think they should be small, I remember the toys in Bladerunner. But in general you are right...

I love those little chaps!

I've always had a soft spot for Napoleon, so your version is my favourite figure here. The scariest is that clown though - he has the eyes of a psychopath with a really jolly smile. Quite fitting really  lol
