Victrix 28mm Norman Infantry - looking for some comparison photos

Hi all,

Not often I get on the Medieval forum part of the group, but I am thinking of bolstering my Norman forces with some of the new Victrix plastics. At present, I have a bunch of Foundry metals and some Conquest plastics. So I am wondering how the new Victrix Norman Infantry compares sizewise with these other ones I have.

If any of you out there have the Victrix Normans and can share some comparison pics as well as your thoughts, I would be grateful

Don't have any of the Foundry or Conquest figures I'm afraid but took a quick pic next to some figures I do have it it helps.



Left to right, these are Foundry, Crusader, Victrix and Perry.

The Victrix figure was painted by Jon Barrett from over on the Victrix forums, not had time to assemble any of mine yet but they are really lovely figures. Very much looking forward to painting some of my own.

Thanks Steve....they do look nice...but a bit stocky....not that is a bad thing!

Hoping someone has some pics next to the Foundry Normans, as that will be my key excuse to buy some!

No problem.

If no one has any comparison pictures it may be worth picking up an individual sprue from eBay as a few sellers seem to have them on there now. I've done that in the past when I've not been sure about compatibility.

No Norman's as of yet but I assume they are the same as the Vikings and Saxons. Here is one amongst some foundry Norman's

From those I have assembled so far the scale between the Viking, Saxon and Norman sets seems pretty consistent.
