Lovely additions to the collection. I think the Assaltos are one of my favourite troops for this period

I gave my Spanish Civil War game Arriba é Non Pasaran it’s first outing.

It’s pretty much a synthesis.  Ideas and systems have been freely adopted and adapted to produce a card driven game. There is an after- action report on my blog if it’s of interest.

The pic’s below are from the game.

There are some new Spanish Civil War pics on my blog with an extract from my Arriba é Non Pasaran rules.  It deals with the Unit Card Deck and the Event Table that drives the game.

If it is of interest here is the link.

My second game of Arriba é Non Passaran is now on my blog should it be of interest.

This time I used tanks and artillery and an air strike too.  You can see how it went at.

The first Zvezda T-26 was the later S model, but I believe they finally released the early model with the correct turret.  Their BT-5 uses that early turret as well.  I expect a BA-6 from Zvezda, since they have the earlier turret to go with the BA-10 body?

I bought my Pz Is, T-26s, and BA-6s pre-Zvezda and pre-Minairons from the Old Glory Command Decision range.  I like the lighter plastic that Zvezda and Minairons use, but the OGs are paid for, painted, and based!

Yes, I know what you mean. I like the Zvezda T26 better, it seems more substantial even though it's plastic.  Peter Pig are reliably good throughout.

That's it for my Carabinieros, one unit only.  I couldn't miss doing the uniform.
