Nice one Matt, I do have a thing for the dragoon uniform.
How would you describe that horse colour, is it roan?

The colour is called in French a “isabelle” bay, the Americans Buckskin. Not a very common colour in Europe, however a specialty of the Swedish kings and the Prince Conde de Bourbon in the 17th and 18th century.

I will look into this as I think it's a beautiful colour.
That it was a speciality of the Swedish Kings...wow.
There are some horses on my table and I will take liberties....watch this space.
