Wonderful  :-* :-* :-*

Really nice colour choices on the Col. and another reason for mine to sit on the painting table untouched for another age :'(

How you were able to paint the ring on the Colonel's hand, I can't even imagine.   :(

Thanks chaps - glad you like them.

The Colonel is not actually converted.  It's a limited Ed version.  The wedding ring is just a thin dark line, with an even thinner line of yellow/gold painted inside it and then a spot of white at the top of the gold.  :)

Colonel Pasha causing trouble, and the Egyptian authorities afraid to crack down on him lest their British overlords get irritated?

He's one of theirs, after all, spent years under the colours before retiring to that odd place just outside Cairo and going... a bit strange. Odd chaps about, very peculiar stories from the local natives. That sort of thing.

(have I just revealed a big chunk of your backstory?)  :)
