These have been sitting around for a while as I worked on other projects, but I recently finished up my Westfalia Halfmen from the 1st Breakfast kickstarter.  I like these a lot better as they aren't little balls of butter with legs and hands.  I chose a fall themed color scheme for the force, and ground cover.  Mentally I picture them down in the Alps or in the Black Forest in the fall.  I did try and retain a lot of food themed items for the heraldry.  The main basing material is tea.  Someone bought me some Earl Grey, which I detest (English, Scottish, or Irish Breakfast with the occasional Oolong or White Tea is mostly what I drink).

Handgonnes, Wizard, Lord, Champion, and Assassin:

Halberds, Goat Knights, and artillery

Close up of the Lord:

Halberd Champion and Banner:

Ribauldequin:

I have four Sergeants on goats almost done, and then enjoyed it so much I recently picked up a block of sword and another unit of goat knights.  It will make a decent Saga: Age of Magic force I think.  I plan to use them with the 'dwarf' list.

Looking great. Mine are still on the back burner... I started the mounted hero but he got moved into the usual WIP when more shinies appeared...

These are figures I look at a lot but have never convinced myself to buy.
Good going!

Those look really nice indeed, and kudos for the freehand heraldry! Very good results on that too.

Thank you all.  I am reasonably pleased with the lozenge/pretzel work.  It's been a bit challenging to think up good food related items, or similar hobbit themed devices.

Sergeants are done, and I'm pretty happy with the radish, carrots, garlic clove, and wheat heraldry.  I did do a small custom on one with the purple/green headgear and tassels.

Then a wandering priest.  Should be suitable to use as a 'wizard' for Saga.

I need to decide on a suitable apple heraldry a some point, maybe some cherries.  Bread loaves would be too big for the size of their shields.  Maybe a sheep/ram for a mutton farmer?

Some swordsmen for a unit of warriors.  The flag is based on the town of Waldkirch in the Black Forest.  When we took the kids to Germany, we saw the ruins of a castle there and had to stop to hike out to it (Kastelburg).

My wife and daughter were brave enough to climb all the way up to the top of the keep and walk around, but my son and I only made it about 2/3rds up the staircase before coming back down.  My wife said there were gaps in the roofing boards you could see down to the bottom through...oh my.

Done at last, final unit for the Halflings.  Here we have Cherries, Apple Tree, Wine/Vines, and Hops.

All in that gives me 3 mounted units, 3 foot units, 1 artillery, Warlord, Wizard, and two Champions.  Not to shabby for a Saga:Age of Magic Warband that I can pick and choose from.
