I am preparing my Siege game for Space 1889.
Got the walls sorted , and have some very nice TM Terrain Buildings to go with them..
However I am after a bit of Ïnspiration , on how to customise said buildings to give them a "Martian "feel.
Any ideas ??

Off the top of my head and not knowing the look of the buildings I would suggest

1) Mars coloured ground terrain around the building, Martian plants, vines climbing up the buildings
2) Add-ons, shrines, coral with Gashants, odd shaped wall decorations, odd shaped architectural add-ons
3) Strange markings on the walls, I see circular shapes, spirals, odd looking letters
4) Netting to protect against flying blue High Martians
5) Humans go home signs...either in Earth language or Martian

I'd suggest both, with lovely even squiggles for Martian, crude splashed characters for English, representing some sophont unfamiliar with how to make English NOT appear crude...

'Human' can be a positive term. Why not 'Earthers' or, as used in a Star Trek episode,
'Ugly bags of mainly water'

Both work, certainly the 'mark of the resistance' could start appearing on wall. Maybe evidence of some marks having been removed even as newer ones have been added. Anything goes!

Recently seeing Amharic in a group of translations for local city notices, I'll say the script suggested useful for Martian. One must be careful of what they are accidentally spelling, of course... 

As for piccies of the rifles, bated breath, sir.
