Those Spahi look like they could do double duty as the Bey's guard for a Wind and the Lion scenario.  May break down and do that marines and sailors march on the palace - one day.  May be my favorite scene from all those Victorian era colonial movies.

My gaming group is thinking the same thing.  We love that scene in the movie!

And great-looking battle and photos.  Looks like the Legion had a rough go of it...

Not sending a platoon to that hill on turn one or at least two scouts was a mistake that untimely cost them the battle. The second platoon was on its way there but then he change his mind. The Natives in TSINA are not the same as in TSATF. The Natives in TSINA are more like European trained Egyptians or Indians minus the formations. Very tough opponents.

in my own version of The Wind And The Lion Scenarios.
