Painted Macedonian Phalangites

I'm very pleased to say that I have finally finished the bases and final minor touch ups of my first unit of Macedonian Phalangites.

I have to admit that I think the transfers look much better than the hand painted shields I originally painted for them!

Nice looking phalanx and with pikes like that they soon have some realistic blood dripping down them!
