Cedar Bridge Tavern, December 27, 1782. 250 years from that date will be in 2032. That means I only need to paint, on average, about 1.4 figures per day to finish my AWI collection before time runs out on that anniversary.
Got a start last month by completing 105 figures, a 5 battalion brigade of militia with a gun and crew and a general. A brigade of red coated loyalists is in progress and a quartet of cavalry regiments as well which I hope to complete this month.
Oh, Cedar Bridge Tavern was the last land battle per Wikipedia listing; not much bothering with sea battles. I have 3,581 days to keep myself busy to get the whole shebang painted.
Not very daunting if only 1.4 figures per day, now is it?
All a matter of perspective, lads (and lassies).
And I don't need to buy so much as one more figure - the whole lot is in hand - well, around the homestead.
