Indian Mutiny - TMWWBK
« on: 16 April 2023, 08:33:42 PM »
Some piccies of an Indian Mutiny game today. We used the amendments suggested by Antonio J Carrasco and others here, back in 2018

A good game with plenty ebb and flow, cavalry charges and both sides shooting themselves to a standstill.

More on my blog.

Thank you folks.

It was a good game. Despite neither side achieving their objectives fun was had, figures were shuffled around, three friends caught up and future plans were laid. That's about as good as it gets.

A campaign will be kicking off, so further games will be played and I will post up the campaign notes here too.

Hi, I tried searching but couldn't find the amendments, could you give a link?

See attached. I copied the troop types etc and added them to my campaign notes.

Just started painting some Mutiny figures (Foundry) so this is a nice bit of inspiration!

Lovely figures.

We've since had other games, in 10mm with several figs mounted on 2ps, 1 base = 2x28mm figs if you follow me.

The games resulted in a the campaign shuddering to a bloody draw. The mutineers lacked the discipline to really drive off the British and the British lacked the numbers to win enough battles and get through to rescue the besieged residency.

The 10mm's though less visually attractive individually did look more like companies and it's a great way of saving space for those without.

Oh and rifle armed mutineer light companies give the British a hell of a scare 🤣🤣🤣🤣
