I was going to repaint the "run", but I thought it looked cool.

Those do look nice and the run in the paint does fit right in.  Now you just need to do another four or five thousand so they can do the wave over the opposing army.

Primed White, Coelia Green contrast (twice, allowing to dry between coats), Paint metal on, Brown wash on metal. the heavy Dry brush in white (downward strokes only)
