Who's excited for Hametsu?

Japanese monster hunting. Sounds cool. Seems similar to sengoku monster hunter. Seems to be a rise in monster hunting games since the success of kingdom death monster. And just recently majestic 13 and in a few months the doomed from osprey.

Has anyone tried sengoku monster hunter? is it a good game worth purchasing?

I bought the rulebook and some of the creatures last time Alternative Armies were running a sale but its languished on the shelf ever since, wonder if anyone else has tried it?
I think there are more cooperative monster hunter games since Covid lockdown, very difficult to persuade a spouse/housemate into a competitive head to head if they've never played before whereas a co-op allows a more gentle guide into a game's mechanics.

Charlemagne, his sister and I have had several games using the Ronin rules (Bandits and Monks have fought Oni, Kappa, and spiders).
