Old west oil lamps
« on: May 15, 2025, 12:21:17 PM »
Would anyone know of any seller of 28mm oil lamps, that would suit old west buildings? Either free standing or wall hanging ?

I thought they'd be a nice addition.
Thanks.

I use O gauge/O scale model train lanterns which work pretty well. Here you can see one hanging on a Huckster wagon I painted up a while back.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Try Miniprints out of Canada, available in O scale.

Thanks both hadn't thought of that. I'll see if there is similar here in the UK.

I've a ton (well maybe a dozen, don't know for certain) of the more posh ones with the fluted glass top, they come with a load of 1/48 dolls house furniture I stocked up on...

And, of course, there's a spare arm holding one on the 'Dead Man"s Hand' Gunfighters II sprue - 2 to each box. If you want them free standing or hanging from a hook, you'd just have to carve the hand off - not difficult as it's plastic.
