Trying to understand something on Missile Fire – MY COMMENTS IN ALL CAPS. Other is rule.

• ne of the two conditions below must occur to meet the eligibility criterion.

The first is that an eligible target has its centre inside the unit's shooting zone. (THIS IS SIMPLE ENOUGH)

The second condition is that every opposing (TARGET) file must have at least one shooter's base entirely, or partially, in front of it. (THIS IS THE ONE I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. THIS WOULD IMPLY THE SHOOTER'S SHOOTING ZONE IS IRRELEVANT).

THOUGHTS? I'M ASSUMING IT IS SOMETHING FAIRLY SIMPLE I AM MISSING ON #2.
