I totally agree, they are not the best looking minis. I debated long with myself if I should even use them or if I should spend a lot of time on the trying to polish them up a bit. But in the end I opted for not wasting time trying to polish them up and just stab some paint on them and call them done.

I like those lions, they look like Hyenas wearing a lion's mane wig.
It'd actually make for a great base for an O&G chariot traying to pass off as an High Elf unit

This whole project is great! And as others have said, the models that you've chosen really channel the "actually rank-able" vibe of the high elves from early 4th edition WFB. Great work and thanks for sharing!

As for the lions, I wouldn't worry about it and agree with the "just get them painted and on the table" approach. There's something about having a completely painted army that helps those little imperfections seem insignificant. That said, I was trying to figure out what felt odd about the sculpts. I think the manes are too far back, and the posing of the legs is a bit stiff, and one of them has a big underbite, but hey, if they pull a chariot, they do the job!

I have a YouTube and so can you!
