Posted this on BGG about the discounted additional Classic + Realm sets:
Some reasons for buying another Complete Collection (Classic and Realm), retail or otherwise:
* Reinforcements add-on is only for Realm sets to become equivalent to FS2 sets. AFAIK, Reinforcements do not upgrade Classis sets to FS1.
* Some Elites require three more mini's as their Entourage. So you could have a regular minion group of five Bandit Cutthroats, and three more as a Bandit Captain Entourage.
* You may wish to fight more than one enemy that have only one miniature in a FS or Wildspire set for whatever reason (eg. two Centaurs).
* Second dragon. Dragons and wyrmlings of different colors have slightly different abilities.
* Other miniatures games that use more than five mini's of a monster type (eg. Spellslingers and Sellswords, D&D).
I did notice that the Classic set has only two Banshees and two Ghosts. So, even if you bought a second set, you'd have 4x Banshees, and 4x Ghosts, not enough for the 5x minions. However, you can certainly proxy Banshees as Ghosts (male and female ghosts), though, thematically not vice versa (Banshees are female!). If you paint a Ghost or Banshee, wrap some cotton around the base for a quick ghostly fog effect!
A duplicate set of Heroes (Mercenary Guild) isn't as important. I've only really wanted multiples of dwarven paladins after third level armed with polearms (high resistance, high damage, second strike and *nobody* makes that sort of mini. Same for my Elven Ranger who wants a spear.
And, if you're still unsure about multiple sets b/c you haven't even played LT yet, you can always wait for retail.
