Iain, many thanks for this. I never got round to buying v2 of the rules and my regular opponent who had them died during COVID. I knew the changes were minimal and personally was happy with V1.  However I'll now pen-amend them with the changes.

I realise that it’s all been said but I love my BG books and don’t regret a penny I’ve spent on them (and yes I have them all!). The quality is excellent and even if you’re a WW2 buff the backgrounds are well written and worth reading. The fact it can be played as small infantry games (something I often forget in a ‘get it all on the table mentality!’) up to combined arms is great. I’ve invested in them as they are what I intend play as long as I still have my WW2 chaps (and can find an opponent). I’m looking forward to BGCommander and have a ton of 6mm waiting just for this!

If you’re anywhere near south wales and would like an introduction game (open to any) just give me a shout!

Battlegroup.... yer it's not a bad old game I suppose...

I mean, I've played no other WW2 game since 2011 so I guess I like it.

I may be a little biased.  ::)

...and Pacifc has been out for a while, just gone Print on Demand I think... my favourites have always been Blitzkrieg and Fall of the Reich, but I do love a good Burma game too.

Battlegroup Küstrin has just gone for layout too and Battlegroup Italy is in playtesting.

Battlegroup Commander still in development and initial playtesting...

New Battlegroup website just built and it's due to get a new forum... once I work out how to use it.
