By the way Helion produce a Wargamer's guide to the Wars of the 1st Coalition which may be of interest to gamers of the period. Not cheap at £35 but may be worth a look. I am building Vendee Rebellion forces for Sharp Practice and think that theatre probably too peripheral for the book so won't be buying it myself. Helion are on the list of traders for the Hammerhead show in Newark in early March , so I'll give it the once over there.

although it's worth keeping an eye on Helion as they often have discount weekends for selected titles, and online orders are post free UK

The most recent purchase in my polyglot French army is Blue Moon infantry. If I was starting from scratch I'd use all of their infantry. Good sculpts and sturdy enough to stand up to actual gaming conditions. Have not purchased any of their cavalry or artillery.

Some of my figures from other vendors have lovely figures with broken bayonets and and such.
